Comic Workshop

What is this event?

This free workshop is for young people who are interested in making and publishing their own comics! Led by illustrator and teacher Nikcarl, the session will introduce you to the comic world and help you to find out more about the art of comic book making. It'll be a fun, creative, 60 minutes activity that the whole family can enjoy.

Nikcarl is a local illustrator and teacher who runs an online comics course for young people. This workshop acts as a free taster session for those who might be interested in developing their comics on Nikcarl's online course, which takes place every Tuesaday at 5:30pm (GMT). How will the workshop be structured?

The event will contain four 60 minute sessions in which you will learn how to create your own decorative lettering. Please book onto one of these sessions.

• Session 1 / 9:00 – 10:00
• Session 2 / 12:00 – 13:00
• Session 3 / 15:00 – 16:00
• Session 4 / 18:00 – 19:00

After you've completed your session you'll be welcome to stick around for a Q&A.

Who is this workshop for?

This is a workshop aimed at young people aged between 6-13 years old. Parents and siblings are also welcome.
